Apple and Tor, an anonymous browser, partner up to increase privacy settings on iOS9 by including system wide Tor apps
The anonymous browser, Tor, and Apple are in the process of merging privacy-focused browsers with Apple's newest operating system, iOS9. According to Hacked News' article, not only will Tor's anonymity function on browsers, but it will also work on other apps. This means that e-mail information, chat information, and other information that can be retrieved from apps will be able to be routed through this private operating system, creating greater privacy control never available to Apple devices before. This advancement in Apple's operating system will finally bring Apple devices up to date with Android devices, which have had Tor apps available for several years.
