Colin Kaepernick Plans to Donate the Proceeds of His recent Jersey Sales to Communities
For the past couple of months San Francisco 49ers Quarterback, Colin Kaepernick (far right), has been seen sitting or kneeling during the National Anthem. When asked about his decision Kaepernick stated that he was protesting police brutality and the mistreatment of minorities in America. Many have criticized and harassed Kaepernick for his decision but others have stood, or rather sat, with him. Since August 26th, Colin's jersey has gone from the 20th best-seller, to the number one jersey sold in America. In an Instagram post, the quarterback pledged to donate the first $1 million he makes from the jersey sales. Though it's not clear as to what organization(s) Kaepernick will donate too, his intention to help change the racial tension in American remains clear.
